Welcome to the North Downs Sinfonia

North Downs Sinfonia
We are an amateur symphony orchestra which plays a wide repertoire of orchestral music, with concerts twice a year at Tatsfield Village Hall, in Surrey.

Our aim is to provide a concert programme that is varied and entertaining, with a number of popular favourites, but do not shy away from occasionally  playing the less well known or more challenging work as part of our repertoire.

Our Spring Concert this year was another success for the orchestra. Many thanks go to Michael Hitchcock and Sylvia Seaton for their enthusiasm and hard work, as well as the Maynard family who put in a huge amount of effort behind the scenes. Last, but by no means least, thank you to every audience member who came to listen.

We hope to see as many of you as possible in our concert on Saturday 11th November when tenor Davide Sorrentino will be performing a selection of operatic arias. Our conductor for the event will be Francis Griffin and we will also be performing Dvořák's 7th Symphony.
